Sister Bessie Evelyn Merrells, age 86, of Winnsboro, Louisiana, transitioned peacefully on November 15, 2025.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home in Monroe, LA, and from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home in Winnsboro, LA.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 AM, at St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Winnsboro, LA, followed by interment at Sims Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, also in Winnsboro.
