    Dearest Cousin,
I am writing this with a heavy heart, struggling to find the right words to express how much you will be missed. It feels like we were supposed to have so much more time—time to gather together, to share stories, and to celebrate the beautiful lives we’ve lived and the parents who raised us. To lose you at such a young age is a pain that is difficult to put into words.
I want you to know how deeply you were admired. Thank you for being such a loving and caring soul, and for the way you always took the best care of your family; it was a testament to the person you were. I will always cherish the memory of the very first time we met, and I will hold onto the sound of the laughter we shared in all the years that followed.
You may be gone from this earthly life, but you will never, ever be forgotten. You hold a permanent place in my heart.
With all my love and deepest condolences,
    Cuz Pertina (Bennett) Porchia
