Otis P. Thomas, 84 of Winnsboro, LA passed away on April 25, 2022. Visitation will be Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Winnsboro, LA. Funeral service will be on Sunday, May 1, 2022; 2:00 PM at First Zion Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Winnsboro, LA.

    RIP!!! We shared a lifelong journey together beginning with first grade to roommates at Southern University. After graduation we took the greyhound bus to San Franciso, CA, we were
    planning to find jobs and start our professional careers, after some time we were still searching when you got a phone call from home saying you had a teaching job offer, so you returned
    to Winnsboro and the rest is history.
    I remained in California and had a long career in Engineering after my military service, I will never forget our journey & a lifetime friendship.
