Charles E. Pleasant

Mr. Charles E. Pleasant transitioned from labor to reward on August 13, 2026, at the age of 69.

Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2026, at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel, Winnsboro, LA; from 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

Funeral service is Saturday, August 22, 2026; 11:00 AM at Pleasant Star Baptist Church, Winnsboro, LA.

Burial will follow immediately after at Cuba Cemetery, Gilbert, LA.

Please continue to keep the Pleasant family lifted in prayer as they navigate this time of loss.

You will be forever be remembered and loved 😍
Growing up as next-door neighbors we were truly family, friends and “the village.” Sooooo many fun memories joy and laughter 😃 You were known for your brilliance and gentle respectful character. High School class of 1975 and college graduate 🎓 of Southern State University in engineering. BTW very handsome with pretty hair.

Dear classmate, we became neighbors in the first grade. You were the smartest person in our class. Your brilliance was effortless. And, your ability to make friends without hesitation was among your finest qualities. We are blessed to have shared your life on this side. Now heaven is your final resting place.
