Mrs. Cynthia Blunt Wesley transitioned from labor to reward on August 22, 2026, at the age of 61.

Funeral service is Friday, August 28, 2026; 11:00 AM at Winnsboro Second Baptist Church, Winnsboro, LA.

Burial will follow immediately after at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Winnsboro, LA.

Please continue to keep the Blunt/Wesley family lifted in prayer as they navigate this time of loss.

    Cynthia, was more than a great friend. She was like a sister, and she was my partner in cast iron crime as she coined it , P.I.C.I.C…..she was well known and loved across the cast iron community. To know Cynthia (c-dubs), was to LOVE her. I will cherish her memories, and hold them dear. This world needs MORE like her, it was a better place, BECAUSE of her! I WILL see you again sis!!

    Cynthia, you will be truly missed by your cast iron friends & fellow viewers of the Cast Iron Chaos & the Mud Brooker live shows on YouTube. The “GANG”, as we were called, as we were called,
    really enjoyed chatting with you, sharing tips on cooking & discussing cast iron. Your active participation helped make those shows entertaining to everybody. We won’t forget you. Condolences to your family. Your North Louisiana neighbors…Papaw Dan & Mrs Cindy.

    The cast iron community lost a wonderful, charismatic and passionate person who made friends with everyone on YouTube live streams. I am happy to have shared moments with her on chats from the cast iron cookware channels. Although we never had the chance to meet in person, she was such an inspiration to all she encountered. We exchanged emails and home addresses to share cast iron cookware. Just a few months ago I received a vintage BS&R Red Mountain skillet she had restored. I will treasure her gift until I pass. May the LORD keep her in peace.

    Cynthia (Baby Sis), your spirit will be with us forever. You are a once in a lifetime gift to the world. Now you have returned to your heavenly Father. We will never be able to fully express how much love, admiration, respect, gratitude, and appreciation we have for you. Our prayers for comfort surround Alex and the family.

    I met Cynthia on the only two cast Iron YouTube channels. Cynthia connected with us as if she knew us for years. At least that’s how I felt. Cynthia’s personality won many of our hearts in the most natural way. I expressed to my family we need to plan a road trip to meet this woman in person. I Cant explain.. I’ve never felt this way about a person I hadn’t even met in person. An amazing woman. God Bless you Cynthia. We love you and will emensly miss you. My deepest sympathy to your husband and family.

    Cynthia was a charm. I never met her in person, but felt I knew her through the cast iron groups we followed. She called me a dis-placed Southern girl due to the way I cooked and spoke. Any time she was in a chat, the giggles and fun just kept coming. She always went on about her family. I know her love for them was strong. I have a phrase from a favorite book that I speak when a friend passes. It’s from Watership Down by Richard Adams… My heart has joined the thousand as my friend stopped running today. Cynthia, i will never forget your cooking tips. And you will never leave my heart.
